The recent trip to China for the DU “Mode, Luxe & Art” of Living students on the verge of starting their careers was a real eye opener and an enormous contribution to their study programme.
Two unforgettable weeks from 15th to 29th March 2008! For all of them it was a trip to discover the country, the culture and the people who are rapidly opening up to the rest of the world.
On the itinery several conferences (the President of Inditex in Asia (Zara, Massimo Dutti), the President of Mirogilo in China, visits to factories (Nike ....), meetings with students from Mod’Art Shanghai, guided visit by Mod’Art Master student 2005/6 now assistant PR to Armani Shanghai .... and also because it is necessary to fully understand this country, the historical background and the huge sites in Shanghai and of course Beijing. And last but not least to discover real Chinese food so much better and so different from the Chinese food found in France.
